Service Warranty

What to do if you need repairs:

1) Get to a safe location. If your vehicle is stopped along a roadway, you will need to call a towing service so it can be moved to a service center. Some service contracts reimburse for towing fees, you will need to contact your service contract provider for specifics. If towing is covered, you will need to pay for the towing up front and submit your receipt to them for reimbursement at a later date.

2) Take your vehicle to a service center. Your vehicle will need to be inspected by an automotive technician to determine the cause of your service issue. Call your service contract provider for details on which service center you should take your vehicle to. Ask your service contract provider to give you information from your policy, including contract number and how to submit a claim. Have that information ready for the service center.

3) Submitting repair order. The service center that inspects your vehicle will submit their repair order or estimate to your service contract provider. Many times, the service contract provider will ask for maintenance records for service work you have completed on your vehicle.

4) Payment. Your service contract provider will issue payment directly to the service center that submitted the repair order or estimate once the work is completed. That payment will only be issued once the claim is approved, and the repair is completed.
